Position Summary
The System Administrator is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving the organization’s IT systems and infrastructure. This role ensures system reliability, security, and availability while providing technical support to users and internal teams. Level 1 focuses on foundational system support and routine operations, while Level 2 performs advanced administration, troubleshooting, and infrastructure improvements.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-experience and 2 (two) or more years of in IT support or system administration experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. PC proficient, including MS Word and MS Excel.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret laws and regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English. Spanish is a plus.
Reasoning Ability
Thorough understanding of management procedures; ability to plan department activities (setting objectives, developing strategies, budgeting, and developing policies and procedures); initiative to organize various functions necessary to accomplish department or Bank activities; Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor servers, systems, and applications to ensure availability and performance
- Perform routine maintenance, patching, and system updates
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access in Active Directory and cloud platforms
- Install, configure, and support workstations, peripherals, and basic server components
- Respond to and resolve escalated helpdesk tickets
- Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Document systems, procedures, and configurations
- Support onboarding and offboarding technical activities
- Follow IT policies, security standards, and compliance requirements
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support IT operations and organizational needs.
- Identify opportunities to enhance application parameters.
- Review correspondence from application vendors to determine applicability and impact to operations, products/services and front lines.
